One day Imam Hussain (AS) fell very ill. Moulatana Fatema (AS) brought him to Rasulullah (SA) and requested, “ Please pray for your grandson, that may Allah grant him Shifa (cure). Rasulullah (SA) replied, “O’ Fatema! Allah has granted you this son, and He will only grant him shifa.” At that moment, Jibrael descended from sky and said that, “O Mohammed! Allah has not revealed any surat in Quran but there is letter "Ý" in it, and "Ý" is aafat (trouble), except Surat-ul -Hamd. There is no "Ý" in it. Take water in a bowl, recite surat- ul -Hamd forty times and blow in the water. Sprinkle that water on Imam Hussain (AS) and Allah will cure him. Moulatana Fatema (AS) carried out this procedure and due to it Allah granted shifa to Imam Hussain (AS).
