It was the night of 19th of Rajab ul Asab, 1385 H. Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA) had departed to Matheran from Mumbai. That night, before he retired to his room, he had witnessed the photographs of Zarih mubarak of Rasul-Husain (SA) installed in Misr and awaiting his dedication. Happy at seeing the Zarih he instructed that word be sent to the Egyptian Government that he would be coming shortly for the dedication. At midnight, the heavenly angel left for the abode of Imam uz Zaman (SA).
When Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) ascended the throne of Da'wat the first task he undertook was to travel to Misr and dedicate the Zarih Mubarak built by his father. This signified that his era would be the continuation of his father's era; his deeds and actions would always reflect the guidance, training and emulation of his predecessor and every aspect of his life would remind mumineen that Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) and Syedna Taher Saifuddin are but one.
In the following years, the Qubba Mubarkah of Syedna Qutbuddin Shahid (RA) in Ahmedabad, which was built by Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA), was dedicated by Aqa Maula (TUS). The rebuilding of the grand Al-Jam'e-ul-Anwar in Misr was also the fruition of the Niyyat of Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA). Dawat abounded with barakaat following the restoration of this masjid. A golden era had dawned and due to the untiring efforts of Aqa Maula (TUS) and his dua mubarak Mumineen progressed and prospered like never before. All areas of their spiritual and temporal lives had seen a dramatic upliftment. Aqa Maula (TUS) attributed all these to the barakaat (divine blessings) and hasanaat (legacy) of Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA).
On the auspicious occasion of his Urs Mubarak this year, Aqa Maula (TUS) in the waaz mubarak conducted at Saifee Masjid, said that the Masjid was reminiscent of Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA) who for years prayed and performed waaz in that masjid. When he died in Matheran, Aqa Maula (TUS), with the foresight of Imam uz Zaman (SA) decided to bury him in Mumbai, amongst Mumineen who had thronged towards him throughout his life. A magnificent Raudat befitting his glory and exemplifying his elevated status in the eyes of Imam was built by Aqa Maula (TUS). These two monuments serve as an edifice to the glories of both the Dais, and a testimony to their successful endeavours in edifying the lives of the Mumineen. Now, with the gigantic project of upliftment underway; these two monuments will be merged in a common precinct symbolising the merging of the two golden eras.
