Taba’at , translates as obedience in English, but its true meaning encompasses much more. Taba’at is a complete surrender to the will of Maula at all times, without a moment’s hesitation, without reasoning and without exception. Before Rasulullah’s (SAW) Mab’as, Muslimeen prayed towards Bait ul Muqaddas. When Allah commanded Mohammed Rasulullah (SAW) to change the qibla towards Baitullah instead of Bait al Muqaddas,

It was the night of 19th of Rajab ul Asab, 1385 H. Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA) had departed to Matheran from Mumbai. That night, before he retired to his room, he had witnessed the photographs of Zarih mubarak of Rasul-Husain (SA) installed in Misr and awaiting his dedication. Happy at seeing the Zarih he instructed that word be sent to the Egyptian Government that he would be coming shortly for the dedication.
