Amir ul mumineen (SA) stated that if a person recites Bismillah before eating he would never suffer from a stomachache. Ibne Kawwa was present at the time. He challenged Amir ul mumineen (SA) saying that the day before even though he had prayed Bismillah before eating, he suffered a stomachache. Amir ul mumineen (SA) answered him sternly and told him that he must have eaten numerous dishes but recited Bismillah on only a few. Ibne Kawwa turned pale, and admitted that he had more than one dish but had not recited Bismillah on all of them
