Q. What should a woman do when she finds out she is pregnant?

1) Take hifz ul hamal taweez from Aqa Maula (TUS) which should be worn round the neck. This taweez should be taken off when labour pains start.

2) Wear a bhar dori around the waist. This is a black cotton thread which should be washed to make it namazi, then measured from head to toe. This should then be taken for shifa by Aqa Maula (TUS) or Sahib of raza. The thread should be worn around the waist but without any knots. It should be worn throughout pregnancy until labour begins.

Q. What should a woman do during pregnancy on a daily basis?

1) Recite Surat e Maryam.

2) Recite Ya Sayyed ush Shohada.

3) Do astaghfirullah tasbeeh for a thousand times.

4) Drink shifa water and take khak e shifa.

Q. What should a woman NOT do during pregnancy?

During an eclipse, she should not eat or drink. She should refrain from touching metal, cutting with a knife or a pair of scissors. In times such as these she should take out nazr ul maqam, give sadaqa, and recite Quran e Majeed.

Q. What is to be done during labour?

1) The hifz ul hamal taweez and bhar dori should be removed, and the tasheel ul wiladat taweez should be tied around the waist. This should only be done after the labor pains are confirmed.

2) Anyone from the pregnant woman's family or friends should get shifa water and seedless kharak/khajoor for the pregnant woman but she should NOT be given these until labor begins.
