Mumineen (SA) states:
“Its wonders never perish and its marvels never cease.”
The marvels of the Quran e Majeed have fascinated scholars across the centuries;
the wealth of knowledge derived beckons them to delve even deeper under the
surface. Whether it is the particular wording of a surat, that holds
interest or a scientific theory explained in an ‘ayat, researchers are
learning something new from the Quran everyday.
One
discovery that had people scrambling to their calculators was of a mathematical
nature. It was discovered that an intricate code existed in the ‘ayats of
the Quran,
That this
connection existed was proof that the Quran e Majeed could not have been
tampered with by deletions or additions.
Indeed there
is a link and reasoning behind every word in the Quran e Majeed.
The
significance of 19 or why a surat has 7 ‘ayats, why a word is
placed in such a manner or why it is spelt in a certain way are all marvels for
a discerning mind.

Amirul
mumineen SA, whilst extolling the virtues of the Quran proclaimed,
“The zahir
of the Quran is elegant and its batin is profound/deep.”
Imam Sadiq(SA)
explained this depth to one of his followers; He said “indeed we can give seven
interpretations for each word (of the Quran).” Skeptical, the man questioned the
Imam SA “seven interpretations?” The Imam SA replied
“Yes, even seventy.”
In the
Chehlum waaz this year Aqa Moula(TUS) advised,
This Quran
that has 114 surats is full of marvels; reflect upon them when reciting it, for
there is a wealth of meaning in each word. He exclaimed further ‘if the Quran e
Samit is filled with such wonders then what can be said in the shaan
of the Quran e Natiq!’
