The Blessed Apple

Syedna Qadin Noman (RA) was in the hazrat of Imam Moiz (SA) when a dish full of apples was brought in. The Imam (SA) said, "These apples are from the orchards of Imam Mehdi (SA) and Imam Qaim (SA) in the eastern parts. The Imam (SA) distributed the apples saying, "Partake of its barakat!" People were divided whether they should eat the apples. Syedna Qadin Noman (RA) took the apple home with him. Late that night, as he was perusing through some books, he felt a severe pain in his stomach as if someone was piercing a knife through him. The pain was so intense he feared he would die that very instant.

At that moment he remembered the apple. "What greater remedy?" he thought. He took a bite of the apple and the pain subsided., as if a thorn had been removed from his side.

Syedna Qadin Noman (RA) thanked Allah realizing that he who prayed for shifa by the wasila of Awliyaullah (SA) would indeed be cured.
