Q. During roza, can a person take an injection or apply medicine to an infected area of the body?
A. Any medication that is not superficial, but enters the body, will break the roza. Based on the same principle, injections will break the roza.
Q. What if a person vomits during roza?
A. If the person vomits deliberately, then he has must repeat the roza. If the vomit is not intentional, then there is no need to repeat the roza, unless if some of the vomit re-enters through the mouth.
Q. What if a person deliberately skips a roza during Shehre Ramadan?
A. The person must free a slave. If that is not possible, then he must fast for two consecutive months. If that is not possible, then he must feed sixty poor people.
Q. What if a person skips a roza during Shehre Ramadan due to illness/travel??
A. The person must repeat the missed days of roza before the next Shehre Ramadan. If this is not possible, then he must give sadaqa of 1.75 kilos of wheat for every roza missed.
