When al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA expresses his intention to rebuild the resplendent al-Jame al-Anwar originally built by the 16th Imam Maulana al-Hakim be Amr Allah SA, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA was alongside him. When al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA decided to execute his father’s niyyat, al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mufaddal SaifuddinTUS was at the forefront of this mammoth project and instrumental in its successful completion. Today, the 53rd Dai, Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS has documented the restoration and resurrection of al-Jame al-Anwar in his first treatise (Risaalah Ramadaniyah (شكر نعم اصحاب البركات) revealing treasures of hidden meanings and recollecting the innumerable miracles that unfolded during this colossal undertaking. Al-Jame al-Anwar binds the eras of three Doat MutlaqeenRA and continues to be the source of the barakaat that transformed the community at the turn of the century and brought it to the pinnacle of prosperity and development on one hand and steadfastness in deen and faith on the other.
A glimpse into the tome makes one realise how difficult the project was, especially when one sifts through history and sees that a number of attempts were made to restore the jaame over eight centuries. Where Governments failed and NGO’s faltered, Syedna Mufaddal SaifuddinTUS with his unshakeable resilience and under the guidance of Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinRA ensured its completion in just 27 months.
Today, Syedna Mufaddal SaifuddinRA is the 53rd Dai Mutlaq, the mansoos of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA. He has undertaken the task to complete the project initiated by Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinRA for the upliftment of mumineen residing in the vicinity of Raudat Tahera. Maula TUS ordered for the soil of al-Jame al-Anwar to be poured into the foundations of the project. It is a clear indication that the barakaat of al-Jame al-Anwar, the nazaraat of its builder, Imam al-Hakim AS and the determination of its restorer Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA and his mansoos Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS will see through the completion of this arduous and complex project. May Allah grant our Maula, Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal SaifuddinTUS a long life till the day of Qiyaamat.
