Sijilmasa 296 H : The time destined for the zuhoor of Imam ul Mahdi (AS) had almost come. It was a hot day. The Imam (AS), then in satar, was seated in a garden beside his palace. His son, Imam Mohammed al Qaim (AS) who was playing nearby, stepped into a dried-up spring. Miraculously, the spring erupted from the ground by the barakat of the feet of this son. The gardener, watching from a distance, shouted "The Mehdi is here. The Mehdi is here". The man was brought to the Imam. He explained that it had been ordained that the spring would reemerge only at the arrival of Mehdi (AS) or his son. Therefore, the man was convinced that the Imam (AS) was indeed the Mehdi… Centuries later…

In praise of an illustrious son and successor… One of the recent bounties bestowed upon me is that my son - Mohammed, having reached lofty heights and become the delight of my eye due to his outstanding character and extensive knowledge - has become most worthy of having his oath of misaaq taken.		92 Years in Retrospect 1333 H Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS), the 1st son of Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA), is born on 20th Rabi ul akhar, 1333 H/ 6th March, 1915. The day coincides with his father's official accession to the august office of Dai al-Mutlaq. 1334 H Grand celebrations are held on Syedna's (TUS) first birthday in Surat.

Programme in London The milad programme in London this year, focuses around mumineen and mumineen's lives and activities. There was intense anticipation all of last week with people forming little groups to do whatever khidmat had been assigned them - particularly visible were the tazin and exhibition committees and today the masjid was set with their work.		Bayaan Mubarak Aqamaula (TUS) celebrates his 92nd Milad in London today. Not only is it summer with all the trees in bloom, the masjid complex already ablaze with flowers, music, joyfulness has now been brought to life with Aqamaula's (TUS) bayaan of rabiul awwal and rabiul ula, the seasons of spring and abundance in Islam. Poetry Competition On the auspicious occasion of Aqa Moula's (TUS) milad mubarak, Misbah announces a poetry competition to araz tehniyat to Maula (TUS) in three categories:- Lisanul Dawat, Arabic and English All compositions should have between 7-10 verses (abyaat). Final date for submission: 25th Rabi-al-akhar. 1st Prize : 9,200/- Rs in each category.
