Misbah Milad (1424) Issue

The milad programme in London this year, focuses around mumineen and mumineen's lives and activities. There was intense anticipation all of last week with people forming little groups to do whatever khidmat had been assigned them - particularly visible were the tazin and exhibition committees and today the masjid was set with their work.

The tugra behind Maula was an exquisite backdrop of calligraphy with the name Mohammed in an emblem of 52's and 92's. The abyats in festive banners slung all over the walls were Syedna Taher Saifuddin's (RA) qasida in which he celebrated himself, the shaan of his beloved son.

The vadhavano ceremony is about to ensue for which a three dimensional model of Yemen has been created because it is 900 years since Imam Amir (SA) sent the decrees of bushra to Maulatena Hurratul Malika announcing the birth of his son Imam Tayyib (SA). Tomorrow the Jamaat looks forward to a day of qadambosi for every mumineen and muminaat.

There are two exhibitions planned by the Tolaba and Taalebat on the importance of the beard and the ridah, respectively. The Tolaba have evidence of rules being changed in high offices to allow mumineen employees to wear the beard and the talebaat are eager to show how the ridah has become their most precious ornament.

Sports take celebrations fast forward on Sunday.

May Maula (TUS) be among us till eternity and all our days be days of such abundance
