The deer and her two fawns

One day, a hunter was hunting in the jungle. He was unable to find a kill so he began to pack up. Suddenly, his eyes fell upon a doe and her two fawns. When the doe noticed the hunter, she ran away and one of her fawns was left behind. The hunter captured the baby deer with the intention of presenting it as a gift to Rasulullah (SA).

The hunter arrived with the baby deer and presented it to Rasulullah (SA) who in turn gave it to Imam Hasan (AS). Soon after Imam Husain (AS) arrived, and noticed the baby deer in Imam Hasan's (AS) hands. Imam Husain (AS) asked Rasulullah (SA) for his own baby deer. Rasulullah (S.A.) replied "Son! The hunter brought only one deer, and since Hasan was present at that time, I gave it to him."

On hearing this; Imam Husain (A.S) became sad and was almost in tears. At that very moment, Allah ordered Jibraeel to ask the doe to bring her second fawn immediately to Rasulullah (SA). The doe did as told and told Rasulullah (SA) that Allah had ordered her to come here with the baby and present it to Imam Husain (AS) before he shed a tear.
