One day
Eesa Nabi (AS) met Yahya Nabi (SA). Eesa Nabi was happy and
smiling. Yahya Nabi had a sad and worried look on his face.
Yahya Nabi looked at Eesa Nabi and said, “Why are you smiling?
Do you not fear the retribution of Allah?” Eesa Nabi smiled
and replied, “Do you not have hope in the mercy of Allah?”
When two Nabi’s have such different views, who can decide
whose view is dearer to Allah? Just then Jibraeel appeared and
said,
احبكما الى الله ابشكما"
The more beloved among you two is he who is happy and smiling.
