It is believed by some that the order of dawat has been
adopted from other worldly systems. Not so—the order of dawat
is foremost and eternal. Rasulullah (SA) brought the religion
of Islam and instituted dawat for the protection of religion.
The tenets of deen are based on revelation. These tenets are
eternal for they are not based on education by mortals.
The kuffar of Quraysh claimed that Rasulullah (SA) was tutored
by Abu Fukaiha, the freed slave of Ibn ul Khidrimi, Allah
proclaims: “We know indeed that they say, ‘It is a man that
teaches him.’ The tongue of whom they wickedly point at is
foreign, while this is Arabic pure and clear.” Abu Fukaiha was
an Abraani (Hebrew); he spoke a foreign language. Therefore it
is foolish to assume that he taught the Quran to Rasulullah
(SA). Allah says: “Verily, the Quran is revelation, taught by
the mighty.” Who then was the teacher of Rasulullah (SA)?
Rasulullah’s (SA) teacher was the mighty Jibraeel.
Rasulullah’s (SA) words are words of revelation.
His deeds are based on revelation.
His commands are founded on revelation.
His forbiddance is in accord with revelation.
A mumin, therefore, need not evaluate the commands and
teachings of Rasulullah (SA); there is no possibility for
reconsideration.
