Shehre Ramadan

Ramadan is an auspicious month--a month of fasting, a month of prayer, a month of absolution, a month of abstinence and temperance, a month of bounty and barakaat for those who know and recognize its worth. Rasulullah (SA) says: "O Ali, Rajab is your month, Shabaan is my month and Ramadan is the month of Allah."
    Mumineen begin the thirty days of fasting with the rise of the hilal (new moon) of Ramadan and break their fast with the rise of the hilal on the first of Shawwal.

Bayan Mubarak

     Says Rasulullah (SA): "Do not treat me as the rider does his water flask". Syedna Qadin Noaman (RA) clarifies this metaphor thus: the rider carries with him on his journey a water flask amongst other things. When thirsty he drinks from it, and that done, puts it away in any odd corner in the saddle.He forgets about it; only if thirsty will the water flask be remembered again.

Misbah interviewed Justice Ahmedi, the Former Chief Justice of India, who has held numerous prestigious positions in the course of his colorful career. After being appointed Judge of the City Civil and Sessions Court in 1964, he climbed up the judicial ladder to become Judge of the High Court of Gujarat in 1976
