One such alternative highly advocated by researchers today is spiritual healing. It is based on the philosophy that religious conviction improves physiological well-being.
Amirul Mumineen(AS) says:  - The Quran is curative.
O Allah let the Quran be the light for my eyes, healing for my soul, the banishing of my grief …

What is the beginning of the Monginis story and what is its status today?

The nation's No. 1 cake brand - MONGINIS, traces its roots back to a time when it was a favorite with the Europeans in Mumbai. Chapter on Clothes and Fragrances

Women should not pray without gold or silver ornaments on their hands as they should not pray without henna on their hands. Women should refrain from thudding their feet as they walk so as not to attract attention to themselves.

When Rasulullah (SAW) saw a metal ring on a man's finger he exclaimed: This is an ornament of the people of hell. The man threw away the metal ring and wore one of gold. Rasulullah (SAW) said: As longer as you wear that your finger is in hell-fire. The man asked: Should I not wear any kind of ring? Rasulullah (SAW) replied: You should wear a ring of silver. It has also been said that a ruby ring is maimoon and mubarak.

A chapter is devoted to oils and fragrances. Rasulullah (SAW) said: Attar enhances the mind. While Imam Jafer us Sadiq (AS) reiterated: The ornament of a man is scent manifest and color hidden, while that of a woman is color manifest and scent hidden. A man must apply attar on Friday, even if it means borrowing it from his wife.

The Battle of Khaibar

The battle began. Marhab was indeed a vicious foe. During the fight, Maulana Ali's (AS) shield was broken. He hauled the door of the mighty fortress from its hinges, and used it as his shield. Ali (AS) felled Marhab with a powerful blow, and advanced alone into the fortress. He vanquished the enemy, and returned victorious to Rasulullah (SAW). It is said that forty men were unable to lift the door that Ali (AS) had used as a shield.
Rasulullah (SAW) was delighted with the victory. To Maulana Jafar ut Tayyar (AS), the brother of Maulana Ali (AS) who had just returned from Habasha (Abyssinia), Rasulullah (SAW) exclaimed, "What shall please me more, the return of Jafar or the victory of Khaibar!"
