For centuries, this place has been a refuge for the distressed seeking comfort; the destitute seeking wealth; the believers seeking fulfillment of desires. But, today it is the focus of every mumin's attention as the new Qubba Mubarakah is nearing completion and awaiting inauguration.
The Daaim ul Islam devotes a chapter to health care and medicine. The chapter begins by stating a
precondition-- without which there can be no hope for cure. Cure is based on
faith, faith on the doctor and his prescriptions. Only those who have faith
shall be healed, not those who consume medicine on doubt.
A phenomenon of the Quran e Majeed are the Fawateh- the clusters of letters opening 29 of the Surahs. They are also known as the Muqata'aat (abbreviations) and are made up of half of the letters of the Arabic alphabet.
What do they mean?
Generation after generation of Muslim scholars have tried to come up with explanations regarding these seemingly disjointed letters
As with Dawood Nabi (AS), steel melts at his feet. This is one of the most renowned miracles associated with Syedi Fakhruddin Shaheed who rests in Taherabad, Galyakot. His qubba is of elaborately carved pristine white marble. Anyone who has visited Galyakot has felt the tranquility that surrounds the qubba
In all this, my father followed only one clear principle - Aqa Maula (TUS) is Imam uz Zaman's Dai - truly infallible and always right - Dawat's principles are uncompromising and always supreme. Thereafter, he applied the law to this principle. With this clear thought, for him khidmet was easy, because he could now give legal advise without fear or favor. He always gave direct and clear legal advice. So his legal advice was always clear and only for one purpose -
The realm of sleep and dreams is a world vastly different from waking; it has remained a mystery for philosophers, poets and psychologists alike. One-third of our life is spent in sleep, and researchers continue to analyze its various components.
Sleep Disorders:
Insomnia is the bane of human life. Laying awake in bed for long hours can be a miserable experience. Aqa Maula (TUS) advices mumineen to leave their worries behind at bed time and often cites the example of Syedna Abdulqader Najmuddin (RA). On being asked how he could sleep peacefully when he had so much to worry about, he replied: when I go to sleep I leave behind the bundle of my worries in a niche. (The houses in Surat in old times had niches in their walls that were used like little cupboards or shelves).
Jibraeel brought word of the impending attack to Rasulullah (SAW), who directed that a khandaq (trench) be dug around Medina and lit with fire. Rasulullah (SAW) instructed the citizens of Medina to commence work immediately, often digging alongside with them. Ali (AS) and his Shia did the maximum work. The khandaq was completed just before the enemy reached Medina.
The Ahzaab were stunned to see the khandaq. They had never before witnessed such a war tactic. Frustrated at being thwarted from entering Medina, they laid siege to the city. The army soon began to lose morale, and tire of the harsh weather and poor living conditions.
